  • 經歷： 中國石油總公司人事處諮輔會管理師（1987-1988），台灣大學社會系與心理系兼任講師與副教授（1991-1993），世新大學社會心理系首屆副教授（1993-1994），長庚大學醫管系與高雄長庚醫院精神科首屆部定副教授（1994-1995），中國科技大學企管系副教授（1995-1996），中央研究院民族所（1996-2004）與社科中心助研究員（2004-2005），教育部深耕輔導團鄉土語言組首屆輔導教授（2003），教育部國語會首屆華語組主任（2003-2004），前教育部對外華語政策委員會委員兼首任執行秘書、教育部2002通用拼音創發者、曾專任於中央研究院及世新社心系等6所大學。

  • 研究興趣與專長： 1997年受台北市長陳水扁委託研究通用拼音，並於1998年1月發表。
    研究專長為台灣語言教材教法、海外兒童華語教材教法、語言規劃與政策、心理學等。

    Education: Bachelor (1980), Master (1982), PhD (1993), Department of Psychology, Taiwan University

    Experience: Manager of the Advisory Committee of the Personnel Department of PetroChina Corporation (1987-1988), Adjunct Lecturer and Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Psychology, Taiwan University (1991-1993), the first associate professor of the Department of Social Psychology, Shih Hsin University (1993-1994), Associate Professor of the First Department of Psychiatry, Chang Gung University and Kaohsiung Chang Gung Hospital (1994-1995), Associate Professor of the Department of Business Management, University of Science and Technology of China (1995-1996), Academia Sinica (1996-2004) and Assistant Researcher of the Social Science Center (2004-2005), the first tutoring professor of the local language group of the Deep Plowing Counseling Group of the Ministry of Education (2003), the director of the first Chinese group of the Chinese Language Association of the Ministry of Education (2003-2004), the Ministry of Education (2003-2004). 

    Research Interests and Specialties: Commissioned by Taipei Mayor Chen Shui-bian in 1997 to study general pinyin and published in January 1998.
    His research expertise includes teaching methods for Taiwanese language teaching materials, teaching methods for overseas Chinese language teaching materials, language planning and policy, and psychology.
